ExC-ELL Institutes
For general education teachers, their co-teachers of ESL/ELD and administrators; specific institutes for ELD/ESL teachers (see home page for more descriptions).
ACE-LERA Institutes for Dual Language
Academic language (vocabulary, discourse, oracy, listening and speaking development), reading comprehension strategies, text-based academic writing, and how to integrate cooperative learning and social emotional competencies is presented in either English or in Spanish immersion sessions.
ExC-ELL and ACE-LERA for Coaches and Administrators
How to observe, coach and give feedback to teachers using the instructional components.
Onsite Coaching
Our team of expert coaches do site visits to coach the teachers and invite the school/district coaches to shadow and practice using the observation protocols in English or Spanish.
Co-Teaching for ESL/ELD and General Education Teachers
Different models, scheduling co-planning, using same instructional strategies and materials but modified for EL levels.
Job-Embedded ExC-ELL Support
Specific assistance for setting up, realigning, or reenergizing Teachers Learning Communities (TLCs) or collegial activities to sustain teacher motivation and implementation.

Reading Instructional Goals for Older Readers (RIGOR) Program
RIGOR is a phonics, vocabulary, reading and writing program for SIFE and LTELS who need basic language and literacy skills. This PD enhances the program’s instructional strategies and its implementation in order to accelerate older students’ academic growth.

Professional development for teacher education, liberal arts, and other departments/colleges. We have worked with Dual Language Universities.
